Experience

I have been working at Escambia County Middle for 10 years as a Guildance Counselor. I was born and raised in Atmore and truly love my students and feel honored to have an opportunity to give back to the community of my beginnings.

The majority of my professional career has been focused on the well-being of others. Early in my career:

  • I was employed for 10 years by the Department of Corrections Officer.
  • I accepted an entry level social services position with Southwest Alabama Mental Health as a supported employment specialist.
  • I have served as an adjunct professor at Jefferson Davis College in the area of psychology.

Bio

I have two (2) daughters: Natosha resides in Atlanta, GA, and Monique Lee resides in Nashville, TN and one (1) son, who resides in Atmore, AL. I am the proud grandmother of four (4) grandchildren, Monea, Edmund, Electra, and Dylan. I love the Lord, traveling, and enjoying life(in that order). If you ask my students, "what's my fayorite thing to do?" They would say dancing and laughing. I am also a BIG LSU "Tiger" fan.
